RYAN, Garnett Benjamin - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Garnett Benjamin Ryan, who passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at the age of 72.
He is deeply loved by his daughters, Anthea, Kystra and Leonis, his grandchildren Mahreon, Morghen and Reign and of course, Benji.
He is survived by his various family members: Dena, David, Hamil, Norman, Karitha among many others.
Born in the island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Garnett moved to Canada after travelling the world while working on various ships.
He will be remembered as a being a simple man who found joy and peace in his strength, independence and ability to work hard and help others.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only immediate family members will be permitted to attend his memorial service. The family will provide additional family members and close friends with a link to attend virtually when those details become available.
