CHILD, Erin Janet Child - July 16, 1992 - June 21, 2020
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Erin Janet Child.
She was born on July 16th 1992 and passed away on June 21, 2020.
She played soccer her whole childhood culminating with an athletic scholarship to Trent University.
She Graduated from Trent with a BA and a place on the Deans’ list.
Though she faced a myriad of challenges that set her apart from her peers in many ways, Erin made friends everywhere she went.She was engaged to Andrew and together they bought a home and hoped to build a special life.
She loved spending time with him, their 2 puppies and also with her very special friends.
Erin is predeceased by grandparents Don and Hazel Child.
She is survived by parents Colin and Heather Child, her sister Victoria Lecourt and brother in law Mathew Lecourt, grandparents John and Norma Petican, grandfather Ron Gunn, her common law husband Andrew Johnson, and his parents Christopher and Mary Johnson and a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a memorial donation be made in Erin’s name to CAMH.
