BROMLEY, Donald Edward   - (Retired- 40 years service with the Ontario Provincial Police)

It is with great sadness that the family of Donald Edward Bromley announces his sudden passing on Tuesday June 23, 2020 at the age of 65.

Loving partner and best friend of Dianne O’Donnell for 31 years.

Don was predeceased by his parents, Ken and Marilyn Bromley and sister Joanne.

Dear brother of Kathryn (Don) Massey and Paul (Eirin) Bromley. Much loved Uncle of Michael and Bobby Lloyd, Andrew & Christopher Massey, and Joshua & James Bromley.

Great Uncle to Sierra, Ewan, Gracie and Rylee Lloyd, Bryce & Rhys Massey, and Connor, Yhaniz, & James Jr Bromley.

He will be fondly remembered and missed by many family members and friends.

Don lived his life as he wanted to live it. He had a heart of gold even though at times it was sometimes buried by his stubbornness. When he made his mind up, there was no changing it.

Don’s proudest accomplishment was his 40 year career as a 911 Communicator for the Ontario Provincial Police.

Arrangements with Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville, Ontario.  Don will be laid to rest beside his parents and sister at the Bowmanville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

“You and I will meet again. When we are least expecting it. One day in some far off place. I will recognize your face. So, I won’t say good bye my dear brother. For you and I will meet again…..” Kathy.
