Evans SimonEVANS, Simon David   –  Simon Evans passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 7th 2020 surrounded by his family, in his 59th year.
He leaves behind his son Tyler and his Mother Simone, his daughter Samantha and her Mother Wendy, a family linked by love.

Beloved son of David Evans and Ann Power, Brother to Chris and Jeff.

Simon will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

Simon was an exceptionally skilled machinist in the aerospace industry for 30 plus years.

With a love of motorcycles, Simon taught his son to ride at age 6 and they enjoyed the trails together for many years. Simon shared his love of music with his daughter Samantha as they ventured off to NYC in October 2018 for a 21 Pilots concert.

Simon fought a courageous battle with brain cancer and managed his way through his difficult journey with his son by his side the entire way.

Visitation will be held at  ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Saturday July 11th from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday July 12th at 1pm followed by interment at Bowmanville Cemetery.
