GROSVENOR, Vera Victoria - Passed peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Monday, August 3, 2020 in her 97th year.
Beloved wife of the late Frank Grosvenor (1998).
She is survived and dearly loved by her brother Morley Oakley, his wife Heather and her sister Gail Bateman (husband Bill deceased).
She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Brian Oakley (Karen), Ellen McKeating (Gavin), Stephen Bateman (Kim), Susan Heineman (Eric) and Thomas Bateman (Tina).
She had many Great and Great Great nieces and nephews as well that loved her fondly.
We called her the energizer bunny for her ability to keep going when health issues would come.
She never gave up and fought fiercely 'til the end.
Cremation to take place. Burial in Ajax on Wednesday August 11th. No funeral service is planned.
It was her wish in lieu of flowers to give a charitable donation in her honour to one of her three favourite charities; The Canadian Cancer Society, The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Hospital for Sick Children.
