GOODES, Ruth - (February 14, 1944 – October 5, 2020)
Peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital Cobourg on Monday, October 5th, 2020 at 76 years of age.
Beloved wife of the late Bart Goodes.
Cherished mother of Lisa Furey. Loving Nan of Taylorleigh Furey (Liam Wynne) and Jacob Furey.
Dear sister of Danny McCormack (Karen) and the late David McCormack.
She will be fondly remembered by family and friends for her bubbly personality and fantastic dance moves.
Ruth will be greatly missed by her neighbours on Oriole beach on Rice Lake and in Teakwood Village in Largo, Florida.
A private family service will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) with a celebration of life being held at a later date.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
