COLACICCO, Gladys Jean (nee Thompson) – (October 4, 1937 - October 30, 2020)
Peacefully with family at her side on Friday October 30, 2020 at her home in Oshawa, in her 84th year.
Jean, beloved mother of Lisa Brown (Harvey), Joseph Colacicco (Susan) and Marianna Colacicco.
Proud grandmother of Brittany (Michael), Jordan (Taylor), Jacob and Nicholas.
Dear sister in law of Paolo and Anna Colacicco and Darlene Colacicco and the late Domenic Colacicco and their families.
She was the cherished Mom to anyone who needed her love. She enjoyed gardening and grew beautiful flowers.
Jean was a woman of deep faith and felt the need to look out for all those whom needed some help. Jean will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Sunday November 1st from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.
Funeral Mass at St. Gertrude’s Church (690 King Street East) on Monday November 2nd at 10am. Please RSVP to www.armstrongfh.ca or call 905-433-4711 to register for the visitation as well as the mass.
Cremation. Jean will be interred with her parents at Cadmus Cemetery, Blackstock at a private service.
In lieu of flowers, Jean’s wishes were for memorial donations to either Grandview Children’s Foundation or Chalice Canada and would be greatly appreciated.
