Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday November 14th, 2020 in her 97th year.
Born in Toronto on September 20, 1924, daughter of Mary and Leonard Hill. (D)
Predeceased by her brothers Albert and Murray Hill.
Predeceased by her husband Alonzo Churchill (2003).
Loved mother of Christina (John Tran), Gail (late Norman Selbie), David Shankland (Sandra), Terry Shankland, Douglas Shankland, Kerry Ann (Brian Grills) and Patty (Harry Shermet).
Grandmother of Christina, Lori, Lisa, Davie, Phil, Wes, Casey, Kara, Clayton, Matthew, Aimee and Ashlee. Great Grandmother of Erica, Colin, Patrick, Sydney, Sam, Dylan, Mackenzie, Jordan, Nathan, Liam, Ella, Emmerson, Holland, Karlee, Karson and Savanah. Great-Great Grandmother of Madalena.
Survived by her sister Carol Barnett and sisters-in-law Eileen MacDonald and Margery Shankland. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Due to Covid and being mindful of a safe community a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
