Issa BonnieISSA, Bonnie Rose - (February 13, 1950 – November 14, 2020)

We are so very saddened to announce the passing of Bonnie Rose Issa (née Cubbage) unexpectedly in her sleep on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the age of 70.

She is now with her beloved husband Edward Issa, her loving mother and father, Helen and Leonard Cubbage, and dear sisters Joyce Cassells and Jackie Scott.

Bonnie is survived by her three children and their wives; Duane Westley, Christopher and Vadette Issa, Robert Issa and Michelle Tubman; her twin sister Connie Seaver, grandchildren Shay and Eric Issa, as well as many loved nephews, nieces and cousins, all of whom she loved and touched deeply.

For many years Bonnie and Ed built a business together, bringing in many friends to help. It wasn’t enough to have them in the business, she welcomed them all into the family. This was Bonnie’s way. She opened her arms and doors to everyone she crossed paths with, from neighbours, to colleagues, and extended family members.

Bonnie has always had a passion for knitting, and you would never see her with her hands still.

She took particular joy in spending time with her grandchildren, who were her joy.

Due to current world events, there will be no service at this time. When the world and borders again reopen, a celebration of life will be held in her honour, and we will once again join together to make the happy sounds of family gathered that she so loved.

Arrangements entrusted to COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway #2, Courtice (905-432-8484).
