NEWELL, Donald Richard - (May 28th, 1933 - November 30th, 2020)
Don passed away peacefully at Fairview Lodge on November 30th, 2020 at the age of 87.
He is survived by his two daughters Lesli Reid and Paula Casey, sons-in-law Kevin and Jody, sister and brother-in-law Shirley & George Warren, sister-in-law Heather Bennett, and grandchildren Corina, Tyler, Charis and Autumn.
Don grew up with little, but worked hard and smart and was a wonderful provider for his family.
He loved buying, fixing up, and selling cars and could fix just about anything. He even invented what he needed if he couldn’t find it.
He was an excellent back-hoe driver, lumberjack, ice rink maker, wood-stacker, hockey player, gardener (raspberries), dog brusher, people watcher, and of course husband, father, grandpa, and brother.
We will miss his laughter and love of life….
He is now reunited with his wife Laureli who went to be with the Lord 9 weeks ago.
