Wierzbicki JohnWIERZBICKI, John Eugene - (April 6, 1959 - December 4, 2020)

After a courageous battle with cancer, peacefully on Friday, December 4, 2020, John passed away at his home with his family and friends by his side.

Beloved son of Stella Wierzbicki and predeceased by his father Kazimir Wierzbicki.

Predeceased by his grandparents Ann and Eugene Majewski.

Loving brother of Christine Tucci (Bruno) and Teresa Wierzbicki-Goodall (George Goodall - predeceased).

He was cherished and will be lovingly and deeply missed by his nephew Mark Tucci (Nicola), great nephew Max Tucci and his many cousins both in Canada and Poland.

John will be immensely missed by Theresa Hamilton, cherished partner to John, who nursed him throughout his illness with her genuine kindness, compassion and love. An extra special thank you to Theresa's family for all their care and support.

John will be lovingly remembered by his stepson Ian Boyes and was adored by step grandchildren Chloe and Luke Boyes.

John was a fun loving guy. He was a hard worker but he also enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting, camping and cottaging.

An extra special thank you to Brian and Donna Marlow, lifelong friends, for always being there especially in his last two weeks both day and night helping and being so very supportive.

John was very much loved by his many friends, all of whom are far too numerous to mention.

The family would like to thank his doctors, nurses, and support staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa as well as all the PSW's in particular Michele Hamilton for her daily care and support.

Arrangements entrusted with THORNTON CEMETERY and  FUNERAL CENTRE.

Cremation has taken place, but due to COVID19, a Celebration of his Life will take place when it is safe to do so.
