FONTANA, Franco 'Frank' - (June 7, 1933 – January 3, 2021)
Passed away peacefully at Thorntonview Long Term Care on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the age of 87.
Beloved husband to the late Lucia for 52 years.
Loving father to Tony (Sonia), Frank Jr. (Jan) and Josie (Matthew). Proud Nonno to Emily, Mya, Nicholas, Julia, Isabella, Sara and Matthew.
Frank will also be greatly missed by his many extended family and friends.
Frank immigrated to Canada in 1953. He then worked at General Motors for 34 years and he was an avid member of the Oshawa Italian Recreation Club.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Frank’s honour would be greatly appreciated to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be a private family service held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday January 9, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.
