RODGERS, Clarence O. - (December 9, 1936 - January 15, 2021)

Clarence was born to George and Jeanette Rodgers, the middle child of seven offspring.

He grew up in Karachi, Pakistan surrounded by family and friends in the locality of Saddar.

Clarence, or as he was more often called, Clarrie, married his beloved Cheryl on January 6, 1969 in St. Patrick’s Cathedral and they settled into their first apartment in FCCHS where, except for a brief period in 1971, they lived until they immigrated to Canada in 2000.

In the “Misquita Blocks” Clarrie was actively involved in the community – a legacy he will always be remembered for by appreciative neighbours.

Clarrie and Cheryl were blessed with five children, and later with seven granddaughters: Calvin and Denise Rodgers/ Kimberly and Leanne; Clive and Celine Rodgers/ Jordan; Carlette and Colin D'Souza/ Chenelle and Cheyanne; Crystal and Kevin Fernandes; and Corinna and Gary Gillis/ Erin and Riley.

Clarence was predeceased by his parents George and Jeanette, as well as his siblings Joyce (Joaquim), Doreen, John, Valerie, Norma and Neville.

Throughout the years, Clarence continuously shared his love and wisdom with his wife, children, grandchildren, and several others. He will be dearly remembered by all his extended family, including his cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews and godchildren, as well his numerous friends in Pakistan, Canada, USA, Australia and around the globe.

Visitation and Catholic Funeral Liturgy are private by invitation only through the family.
