Brumley AstonBRUMLEY, Aston Locksley  - (June 16th, 1943 - January 19th, 2021)

Peacefully at home on the evening of January 19, 2021, surrounded by his family and holding his grandson Jack’s hand.

Aston is survived by his wife Gabrielle, son Jason (Jennifer), grandsons Jack and George, sisters-in-law Gillian (Patrick), Gordonna (Vito), his lovely nieces Marysa and Clare and mother-in-law Irmgard.

Aston was born June 16, 1943 in St. Elisabeth, Jamaica, the place that he loved and returned often to visit with family and attend to his goat farm.

He is survived by his Jamaican family, brother Lascelles, sisters Thelma and Daisy and many nieces and nephews, whom he also dearly loved.

Aston was also blessed with many friends who were there for him until the end.

Aston had a long career in real estate but very much enjoyed his last few years working at The Shandex Group and the people there.

Special thanks to the amazing staff of the Durham Regional Cancer Centre, Palliative Care Team and the C.C.A.C. nursing and PSW caring staff.

Due to covid restrictions a private family service will be held.

Messages of condolence and shared memories can be left for the family by visiting  barnesmemorialfuneralhome.com .
