SPONER, Maria - (August 15, 1930 – January 18, 2021)
Passed away and is resting easy now after the struggle of her life, at Fairview Lodge Whitby on Monday, January 18th, 2021 at the age of 90.
Predeceased by the love of her life & beloved husband Oswald (Ossi).
Loving Mother of Sylvia Sharafi (Moe) & extended family. Most cherished Grandmother (Oma) of Christiaan.
Maria will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Emi (Bert) & many nieces & nephews in Austria. As well as Genevieve (Youri) and their children, Charlize and River of Quebec.
Maria was loved & cared for by the wonderful health heroes at Fairview Lodge over the past three years, who will miss her dearly.
The family wishes to extend there heartfelt gratitude for their kindness & support for their dear Mother, when they could not be by her side.
Maria will be remembered by all, for her most selfless, kind & loving nature. She touched many & will be remembered as the true angel she was, while on this earth. She will be missed beyond any expression of words.
RIP Mom (Oma), until we all meet again.
A private family service will take place at Thornton Cemetery.
