LUCAS, Michael Carman - (October 8, 1957 - January 23, 2021)
It is with profound sadness that the family of Mike Lucas announces his sudden passing on January 23, 2021 at the age of 63.
Mike was unendingly proud of his family. He was both a father and grandfather, survived by daughters Christie and Rachel (Greg) and six beautiful granddaughters, Brooke, Reese, Mikayla, Avery, Piper and Gabbi.
“Papa Mike” was a cherished figure in his grandchildren’s lives and his memory will be celebrated with joy. He was the rock that supported Christie and Rachel throughout their lives, and they meant more to him than words can describe.
Predeceased by wife Patricia and parents Carman and Valerie Lucas, Mike leaves siblings Brian (Sharon), Louise (Jeff), Dan (Jean) and Jacqui (Ken) to keep alive the memories of growing up together and the love they shared.
A private family interment will lay Mike’s ashes alongside those of Patty in Whitby’s MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY.
A celebration of his life will take place at a time to be announced.
