Peterson RobertPETERSON, Robert "Bob" Bruce - (February 21, 1948 – February 5, 2021)

Retired executive in the ink industry, brother, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully just shy of his 73rd birthday.

Born in Toronto to Arthur and Susan (neé Conboy) Peterson, and stepfather Colin Argyle, and admired brother of Bill Peterson (predeceased), Doug Peterson (Linda), and Susie Agnew (Jim).

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of over 30 years, Louise Ratté.

Bob was the proud father of his sons Kyle Peterson (Jamie), Wesley Peterson (Alyssa), and daughters Mona Viera (Jorge) and Jennifer Arsenault.

Loving Papa to Tiffany, Alyssa (predeceased), Emily, James, Owen, Michael, Victoria, and great-grandfather of Seth, and Rylee. Caring uncle to Ryan Peterson (Tasha), Brittany Peterson (Chris Dobbs), Bill Peterson (predeceased), and Colin Agnew.

A dedicated and hardworking man his whole life, Bob retired after over 40 years in the ink industry, ending his career as the Director of Technical Quality at Sun Chemical.

Through his job, he travelled the world, and made many life long friends, having a lasting impact in his field, and his respected colleagues.

When he was not working, he travelled for leisure with his wife Louise, enjoyed golf trips with his sons, and family vacations to Florida.

He called Marsville, Ontario home for decades, and being an excellent host, threw many parties for friends and family, where for the grandkids, there were "no rules at Papa's house!"

He had a life-long love of fast cars, doted on his animals, especially his cats, and loved listening to Dr. Hook and The Medicine Show.

Most of all, Bob will be remembered for his kind, well-mannered, and generous heart.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234).

A donation in Bob's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.

Online condolences may be made at  oshawafuneralhome.com .
