McGill WilliamMCGILL, William 'Bill' Jr.  - (February 13, 1970 – February 12, 2021)

Passed away on Friday February 12, 2021, one day shy of his 51st birthday in Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg.

Afflicted with M.D. most of his life, he was not bitter, but took joy in what he could. He loved his family, the Maple Leafs, his PlayStation 4, music, animals and trivia.

A resident of Hope Street Terraces in Port Hope for the last five years, Bill was social and formed many friendships with the staff and residents. He could always be found zooming around in his wheelchair participating in all the activities.

Predeceased by his mother Margaret (Fraser) McGill and his father William McGill Sr.  Bill will be sadly missed by his sister Carrie, aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends.

A special thank you to the staff at Hope Street long-term care for their wonderful care and compassion.

Memorial donations may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234).
