ALLISON, Hubert (Hugh) Ernest - (June 13, 1937 - March 9, 2021) -
The Allison family, which includes wife Linda (Travis), Son Aaron (Shannon) and his daughters Abigail and Isabella, and son Andrew (Jennifer) and daughters Emma and Bria, mourn the passing of a devoted husband, loving and supportive father and amazing papa.
Hubert was born in the small community of Whitney, NB overlooking the beautiful Miramichi River to parents Ernst and Katherine (Matchett) Allison on June 13, 1937.
His siblings include Marilyn (deceased), Daryl, Beverley (deceased) and Anna.
Although he resided in Whitby, ON for the most of his life, his thoughts were frequently on the Miramichi with its beauty and caring people. Because of this love his cremated remains will be returned to his birthplace for a memorial service and interment when the time is right.
Besides his immediate family he leaves to mourn his sister Anna and her husband Winston, his brother Daryl and his wife Catherine, and sister-in-law Gloria, brother-in-law Robert and his wife Lois and their children. Several nieces and nephews, numerous close relatives and many acquaintances.
His family gives heartfelt thanks to Sunnybrook Hospital for its expert cancer care and for the love and compassion provided by the Seven Oaks Nursing Home in Scarborough where Hubert spent his last two years. Arrangements entrusted with Mount Lawn funeral home, Whitby.
