PATON, Margaret - It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Paton announce her passing on March 11, 2021, at the age of 77.
She will be forever remembered by her daughter Allison Paton, son Colin Paton, his wife Dawn Coulter, their son Jack Paton, and husband Anderson Paton.
Magarget is lovingly missed by her cousin Ann McMillan from Kent, cousins from the Grant family; Jamie, Janet, Susan, Christine, Peggy, and longtime friend, Grace Hollihead.
Margaret is predeceased by her sister, Agnes "Nan" Gilchrist.
Margaret was a proud member of the Knox Presbyterian church and an active participant in the Prayer Shawl group.
She will be fondly remembered by her dear friends, co-workers from the TDSB and many childhood friends from Scotland.
A very heartfelt thank you to Dr. Chandhoke for his compassion, sense of humor and sense of style. Also, a special thank you to Marian & Mary-lou from the critical care unit #3.
Margaret was a strong human being who was a caring and thoughtful mother, wife and Nana. She showed love and empathy for others, was optimistic, and showed humility in the face of adversity.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, when social restrictions have been lifted.
