LEE, Sharon - (April 9, 1948 - April 2, 2021)
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Sharon Lee, on Friday, April 2nd, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Daughter of the late Olive and John Desmond McConnell, late brother Wayne McConnell and survived by her sister Susan Angus.
Left to love and remember her forever, are her husband of 51 years, Larry Lee, her three children and six grandchildren.
Daughter Christine Papageorgiou, husband Peter and their children Claudia, Cole and Rachel.
Son Ryan Lee, wife Jessica and daughter Elise.
Daughter Lesley Shaw, husband Trevor and their children Hayden and Hailey. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, kind heart and love for her family.
Sharon loved her gardens and was her grandchildren’s biggest cheerleader.
She was always up for a good field trip and to cheer them on at dance recitals, gymnastics and of course hockey. Sharon enjoyed her second home in Florida, where she’d spend time with her family and friends.
From collecting shells on the beach with her sister to shopping and sharing a good laugh with her many friends.
Arrangements entrusted to THE COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL .
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a celebration of life will be hosted at a later date.
