GALEA, Jean Olive Galea - With great sadness we announce the passing of Jean Olive Galea, age 92.
Jean passed away on Saturday April 10, 2021 at Bon Air Long Term Care Residence in Cannington, Ontario.
Jean was born in Oshawa, Ontario on August 31, 1928 and lived in the Oshawa/Courtice area for many years until she retired when she moved to Pefferlaw, Ontario.
Jean was pre-deceased by her husband, Otto Galea.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Nancy, Janet (Gary), and Jim (Terri) and grandchildren, Brent, Krissy, Elaine, Curtis, Jason, Melissa, and Michael. Jean was also filled with joy by her 9 great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Bon Air LTC for taking great care of Jean and always making her family feel welcome.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, only a private family service will be held in the future.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
