LANGDON, Alana (nee MAHER)- (1967 - 2021) On April 21, 2021, Alana peacefully passed away at her home in Newcastle, ON with her husband (Rick Langdon) and her daughters Meaghan Maher and Jannah Horrocks by her side.
Alana was predeceased and in the loving arms of her Mother, Helen Maher (nee Payne) and her Grandparents,Holt and Dorothea Maher and Austin and Lillian Payne.
She is survived and will be dearly missed by her Father, Allan Maher (Marie) of Fredericton, NB and formerly of Dalhousie, NB, her siblings Dawne Gallant (Donnie), Michael Maher (Donna), Heather Maher, John Maher (Colleen) and Derek Maher (Sylvia).
She will be lovingly remembered by her stepchildren, Bridgette (Jason), Aaron (Kayla), Audrey and her three grand babies, Ryleigh, Lena and Cecilia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Even though Alana is no longer with us physically, she will live on, not only in the memories of those that love her, but also in everything beautiful.
She’s in the sun shining, the birds singing, the waves rushing through the water, the stars and moon in a clear night sky. She’s in every smile and laugh, and every adventure that is yet to come.
Life is cruel and unfair, but it’s also beautiful and full of joy and love. That is what Alana would want us to remember during these times.

A private funeral service will be held in Newcastle.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Alana’s name to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
