KILLEN, John - (General Motors Retiree - Tool and Die Maker)
Passed away peacefully at Fairview Lodge, Whitby, on Saturday, April 24, 2021, with family by his side at the age of 88.
Beloved husband of 64 years to Shirley (nee Dove).
Loving father of John Jr. (Joanne), Elaina Stephen (Jamie) and Tracey (predeceased). Loved grandfather of Amanda, Emily, Amy and Graham.
Dear brother of Marie Frank (Wilf) and predeceased by his brothers George, James and Delmer and sisters Emma Balson, Annie Nemisz and Peggy Currie.
John loved gardening and his lawn was always the envy of the neighbourhood.
His love of hockey included coaching in his younger years and cheering on his favourite team, the Leafs.
His willingness to lend a hand and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558).
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region would be appreciated by the family.
