ALTVATER, Walter - On April 24, 2021 at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital, the world became a lot less brighter, as a wonderful man I called my husband and best friend of 34 years suddenly left too soon at the age of 74.
Wally was a lover of everything, whether it was people, family, or animals.
He would always have a smile for you as well as a hug and boy those hugs were the greatest.
He is survived by his wife Sheryl (nee: Stokes), His Daughter Sheryl, grandsons Drayven and Gage.
Brother Willi, Mother in Law: Marion LeBlanc, Father in law: David Stokes.
Brother in law of David Stokes(Louise). Nephew Dakota and Great Nephew Xavier, Uncle Archie Langille, Aunt Lorraine Reznak (Joe) He is also missed by many nieces and nephews as well as cousins.
Special daughters Stephanie Pottier and Christie Behm. He is also deeply missed by his fur babies Shadow and Rusty.
He was predeceased by his mother Elisabeth Altvater, Nana Ida LeBlanc, Nephew Brad Baker and Aunt Ruth Langille, as well as so many others.
At this time during Covid-19, there will be no service.
A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
