ALDERSON, Shirley “Faye” - April 7, 1937 – March 27, 2021
It is with heavy but grateful hearts we share the passing of our Mom, Faye.
She passed away peacefully at home, with her son and daughter by her side, just as she hoped.
Born to Willis and Evelyn Currie, Faye was the proud sister of Glenn (Mary) Wayne, Harvey, Bonnie (Gary) and predeceased by Joanne and Joye.
She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband of 28 years Robert (Bob) Alderson. Loving remembered and predeceased by Richard (Neil) Marshall.
Cherished and much-loved Mom of Dave (Brenda) and Karen (Don). Adored Grandma of Jenn (Kenny,) Kale (Jenna,) Byron and Riley. Faye will be missed by her many nieces and nephews as well as the Alderson and Armstrong families.
She will be remembered for her huge heart, her sense of humour, her generosity and her fierce loyalty to family and friends. Perhaps most of all she will be remembered for her ALWAYS perfect hair!!
A private service has taken place yet we are hopeful to celebrate this beautiful lady when Covid permits.
Arrangements entrusted to THORNTON CEMETERY and FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787).
