Fleming KeithFLEMING, Lorne 'Keith' - It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Lorne Keith Fleming, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Keith passed away at home on Wednesday morning April 28, 2021.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 67 years, Isabella (nee Hoggan), seven children Brian, Craig (Norma), Blair (Glory), Kevin (predeceased), Karen (Kevin), Kathryn and Darryl (Leona).

He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Crystal (Robert), Mathieu (Rachael), Kassandra, Keith (Yoshie), Jessica, Carl, Alana, Lola and Scott.

He will also be missed by step grandchildren Keith (Lorraine) and April.

He was a treasured great grandfather, always had jujubes and bananas on hand, to Benjamin, Abigail, Zachary, Sophia, Opie and Maverick.

Keith leaves behind his brother Gerry (Lenore) and brother in law, Frank, and many nieces and nephews.

Family meant everything to Keith and he cherished his time spent with all his family.

Keith has always been a hardworker and dedicated man. He retired from General Motors of Canada in 1986 after 36 years of service and continued to work for several years after for Wayne Safety Shoes and Hero Brothers Beef Jerky.

Keith was also a dedicated volunteer throughout his life. He was actively involved in Thorald 128 Air Cadet Squadron (commanding officer), St. Catharines Rowing Alumni, Canadian Henley Rowing Corporation, O.A.S.A. (past president), Oshawa City and District Fastball to name a few.

In accordance to Keith’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Home and Community Care Support Services for all their help, especially Shannon and ParaMed Health Services, especially Tracy RPN and the many PSWs for making it possible to keep Keith at home.

For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Lakeridge Health Foundation-Cancer Care Unit.
