Taylor RobertTAYLOR, Robert Brian "Bob"  - March 19, 1939 – May 10, 2021

On May 10th, 2021, the Taylor family lost a husband, father and grandfather to cancer.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Beryl.

Bob was a treasured father to Andrew & Sally, father-in-law to Noella and Paul, brother to Brenda, and a loving Papa to Shawn, Jaclyn, Dylan, Maddy and Robert.

Bob worked most of his career at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station.

Late in his career, he also worked around the world on issues of nuclear safety through the United Nations.

In his final days Bob shared reflections with family.

He told us all that taking care of the people you love is the most important thing.

He told us to always try to do what is right, even when it is difficult.

He told us to try our best to see the end of his life as a natural part of the cycle of life - a valuable experience that could make us stronger and wiser. He said.

“Try not to be too sad, but try to carry on the traditions that we have established: Integrity, Honesty. Kindness.”  Visitation will take place on Sunday May 16 from 4 to 8 pm.
