MARSH, Denise Marsh  -   Surrounded by family, in the comfort of her home on Thursday, May 27, 2021, after a short battle with an aggressive cancer, at age 75.

Denise Teresa Marsh (nee Heaps) was the loving partner of G. Raymond Johnson (predeceased 2019) for 41 years.

Loved mother and friend of Phil Marsh (Ann) and Christi Lindensmith (Glen) and step-mother of Sean Johnson (Joanna), Todd Johnson (Dawn) and Dana Swarts (Cobus).

Cherished Granny of Rebekah, Holly (Kyle), James, David, Jenipher-Ann, Emma, Candace and Jack.

Loving sister to her brothers, Frank Heaps and his wife Heather (predeceased) and Denis Heaps (predeceased) and his wife Shirley (predeceased). Denise was well known for her passionate involvement in the community.

She was involved in the Sunderland baseball and ringette associations, the Sunderland Historical Society, Sunderland Agricultural Society, the Buick Club, the Antique and Collectable Community and many other charitable ventures and initiatives. She was a proud Canadian that traversed our country many times, and was never without a flag prominently displayed. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.   

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions private arrangements have been arrangements.

The family will plan a social gathering in memory of Denise once the current restrictions are lifted.
