Nadeau JeanneNADEAU, Jeanne d’Arc Adele – (September 25th, 1927 - May 30th, 2021)

Passed away peacefully on Sunday May 30, 2021 at Fairview Lodge, Whitby, at the age of 93.  

Beloved wife of the late Sauveur Nadeau, passed away on October 7, 2019, after having enjoyed 67 wonderful years of marriage together.  

Loving mother of Suzanne (Maurice) Mathieu, Serge (Ann), Michel (Karen), Louise (Andre)Lussier and Marc.  

Cherished grandmother of Jesse (Lisa), David (Kayla), Danielle, Eric, Phillip, Jean-Paul, Frederic, Emilie and Sylvie and great grandmother of Mia, Simon, Cameron and Kaylee.

 

Survived by her siblings Jeanine (the late Lucien) Sèvigny, Gaston (Rollande) Poulin, Valère (Claudette) Poulin, Marcel (Normande) Poulin, Roland Poulin and Jean-Guy Poulin and predeceased by her siblings Gilberte Poulin, Phillippe Poulin, and Marie-Claire (the late Charlot) Pouliot.

Survived by her sisters-in-law Rollande and Marie-Laure, and her brother-in-law Robert Nadeau.

Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and family.

The Nadeau Family would like to acknowledge the friendship of their life-long neighbours the “Dobos Family”and Bella.

Jeanne was a very active member of the French Community and loved to volunteer her time there in many different ways.  She always looked forward to helping at the French Pavillion during “Fiesta Week” preparing dessert using maple syrup from their family sugar bush farm in Minden. 

She looked forward to the Bazaar and Penny Sale every year. 

Jeanne most enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoying the great outdoors.  She was a very artistic and creative person.

Sincere and heartfelt appreciation to the entire team at Fairview Lodge for their outstanding care and support throughout the years.

A Private Family Celebration for Jeanne and Sauveur will take place on Saturday June 5th, 2021 at  ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME Chapel, officiated by Jeanne’s brother Fr. Roland Poulin. 

Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
