Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Centennial Place, Millbrook, in her 90th year.
Beloved wife of the late Ross.
Loving mother of Michael (Susan) Pettes, Mark (Laurie) Pettes, Jane (Ron) James and Karen (Myles) Vella.
Cherished grandmother of William, Sarah, Tyler (Hannah), Katie, Melissa (Nathan), Emily and Sydney and great-grandmother of Ethan.
Dear sister of Peter (Cindy) Whittington.
Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Dorothy Whittington.
Marilyn was well known, by all, for her creativity especially her beautiful sewing, award winning quilts and her spectacular flower gardens.
She was always amazed by the talent and creativity of her children and grandchildren, not realizing this all came from her.
Marilyn will be sadly missed by all her family and friends and will be remembered for her love of family, spending time at the cottage and playing bridge with her bridge club.
A Private Family Burial took place at Thornton Cemetery.
