SHAW, Robert Cecil - On June 12, 2021, Robert passed away quietly at the age of 96.
A native of St. Catherines, Ontario, he lived most of his life in the Toronto area.
An academic with 3 degrees, he founded the Dellcrest Children’s Mental Health Centre in Toronto.
As a published author and dedicated social worker he traveled extensively.
He was dedicated and active in his love of The Salvation Army.
He was the loving husband of Myrlin.
Father of Bob, Dale, Margaret, Ian, Monica, Teri, Kevin (dec.), Karen and Sylvia.
Grandfather to Eva, Jordan, Lindsay, Jessica, Cody, Emily, Joshua, James, Lucas, Mikayla and Austin.
Great grandfather to Clara and Henry.
Robert will greatly missed by family and friends especially Aileen, Bill and Gerard.
