It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden, but peaceful passing of Thomas William Hobbs on June 22, 2021, at the age of 86.

He has now been reunited with his beloved wife and best friend Rayleen, who predeceased him 5 months ago. Cherished son of the late Thomas L. & Jessica Hobbs.

Devoted father of Stephen Hobbs, Karen Dixon, Peter Hobbs, Thomas (Tracy) Hobbs, and Michael (Terra) Hobbs.

Dear step-father of Kathleen (Jim) Kalpakis and Jeneen (Sean) Savela-McFaul.

Proud Grandpa of Andrea, Peter (Genna), Catherine Dixon, Owen and Emma Hobbs, Gracie, Myles and Finley Hobbs, Cameron Savela, Jessica McLane, and Michaela and Josh McFaul and Great-Grandpa of Elliott and Halle.

Predeceased by his special aunt Grace Hobbs.

Tom was born and raised in Toronto.

He retired after 32 years of service with Motorola.

Tom and Rayleen loved to travel, dance and spend time with their friends.

They had a beautiful love story and were able to enjoy time together after retirement at their dream home that they built in Mallorytown, ON.

Special thanks to the staff at Bowmanville Creek Retirement Residence for their wonderful care.

Cremation has taken place.
