Armstrong JohnARMSTRONG, John “Barry”  -  After a lengthy illness, at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, on Friday, July 9, 2021, at the age of 76. 

Dearly beloved and devoted husband of Lynda (née Taylor) for 55 years. 

Champion, Supportive and Proud Dad to Kimberly Armstrong (John) and Jennifer Lorette (David). 

Cherished and engaged Grandpa of Brock, Tyler, Madison and Runar. 

Survived by his brothers Robert (Mercedes), Donald and Frank (Ellen) and sister Judy (Hudson Ayres). 

Brother-in-law of John Taylor (Donna) and predeceased by Robert Taylor. 

 

Predeceased by parents Jack and Muriel Armstrong. 

Special thanks to Dr. Shupak and doctors and staff at St. Michael’s Hospital and the PSW’s for their exceptional care at home. 

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558). 

A celebration of Barry’s life will take place at a later date.
