HUTCHINS, Michael Bernard - (February 26, 1944 – August 2, 2021)
It is with deep sadness that the Hutchins family announces the passing of Michael Bernard Hutchins, Sr., our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Michael was born in Rock River, Clarendon, Jamaica, and spent 47 years in his beloved homeland before migrating to Canada.
Michael was married to the love of his life, Valma, for 56 years.
The union produced five children – Michael Jr., Joan, Patrick, Paul and Oral; 13 grandchildren – Patreecha, Patrick Jr., Breanne, Kiona, Daniel, Aleeya, Mikaela, Alexa, Keyshaun, Cayden, Carter, Tytiana and Kaelen; and great granddaughter – Kamryn.
Also mourning his loss are brothers, Douglas, Norman, and sister, Ingrid, nieces, nephews, Uncle Hugh McKenzie, other relatives and a host of friends.
Michael will always be remembered for the unconditional love he had for his family, his incredible work ethic, love for music and all things Jamaican.
The Visitation will be held at the Morningstar Christian Fellowship Church (7601 Sheppard Ave. E. ) on Wednesday August 11, 2021 from 10:00 -11:00 a.m.
The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. The burial will in Ajax Ontario.
