NOORDMAN, Joseph (Joe) Franciscus - March 24, 1941 – August 8, 2021

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, August 8th, 2021 at 80 years of age.
Dear son of the late Fred & Maria Noordman.
Beloved husband of Cheri (nee Brady) for 54 years.
Cherished father of Michelle Gettins-Magill, Joey (Diane) and Melinda Torrance (Dave).
Loving grandfather of Jacob, Erika, Melissa, Kieran, Arthur, Ryan, Sara, Emily and Cameron and great grandfather of five.
He will be sadly missed by his sisters Freda McKenna, Gerda Van Gestel, and Hermien Lelieveld (Frans).
Predeceased by his brother Tony and sister Mieke.Joe was born in Raalte, The Netherlands on March 24, 1941 and immigrated to Canada in 1950. Served in the Canadian Navy for 3 years.
Joe was employed by the Oshawa Fire Department for 30 years and was a Captain. He was an instructor for the Ontario Fire College in Gravenhurst as well as the Director of Training.
He loved his wildlife photography and was a talented carpenter.
A private family service will take place at a later date.
