KANGAL, Sohodra Kangal - 76, better known as "Narlo" passed away peacefully on Friday, August 20th, 2021.
She was born in Georgetown, Guyana, on Sunday, May 27th, 1945.
Narlo met her supportive husband, Krish, and soon after got married for over fifty years.
She was part of a family of brothers and sisters who lived across Canada, The United States, Barbados, and Guyana. She was loved by her siblings, Joyce, Zo, Ellen, Elaine, Ruby, and the late Harold, William, Rita and Daphne.
Narlo and Krish migrated to Canada in 1987 with their two young sons, Raj and Moe.
As time passed, their family grew to include her two amazing daughter-in-laws, Sharda and Gemma, and her four fantastic grandsons, Navin, Kris, Kyle, and Kody, who all loved her dearly.
Over the years, Narlo has touched many lives, inspired numerous people, and opened up her home and heart to help others in their time of need.
She was well known for lighting up any room with her sense of humor and "party" personality. She will be longed remembered for her strong will, relentless spirit, and will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
