Murray JuneMURRAY, June –   In the early hours of August 19th, 2021.

June Marie Murray went to meet her God at the age of 89.

June was born in Toronto in 1932.

From an early age June showed her independent spirit.

While still in grade school, at the age of 13, she worked as a  part time seamstress in order to purchase a bicycle  with her own money.

That independent spirit remained throughout her entire life.

Although her family was her number one passion, travelling was a close second.

At the age of 50 her independent spirit showed itself once again when she travelled solo across the pacific to Australia to visit her son Daniel and his young family.

She repeated this journey over 20 times in the following years now with a new travelling partner, her husband Bill.  June will now make her last journey across the Pacific to her final resting place, to rest in peace overlooking the Tasman Sea with the laughter of the Kookaburras.

June was preceded in death by her husband and soulmate David William Murray (Bill) and her parents William and Marie King, her older brother Gerald King, younger brother Ronald King and the early loss of her son Guy Gilles Mailhot.

June will be sorely missed by her sons Lawrence, Daniel (Lindy) and Paul (Catherine) also her adopted "daughter" Jody.

Grandchildren Cheyne, Amber-June, and Cassady Great grandchildren, Summer, Lacey-June,Milla, and Ashton.

She will be deeply missed by her sister Gwen King and brother Grant King and all the King family The Murray family will also forever miss their Grandma June.

Thanks to all those who cared for June throughout her final year, her niece Jennifer and husband Ron, Tina and all the staff at Strawberry Fields in Hillside Estates, Oshawa and Dr Gee and all the staff at Lakeridge Health,Oshawa.
