Bardowell GeorgeBARDOWELL, George Denham  - Sunday, April 14th, 1935 - Friday, August 27th, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Bardowell following a brief illness.

Beloved husband of Margaret, George was born in Savanna la Mar, Jamaica and immigrated to Canada with his wife and three children in March 1969.

Brother to Gloria and to the late Roy, John, Amiene, Eddie, and Munair.

He will be dearly missed by his three children, Andrew (Carolyn), Debbie (Warren), and David (Elizabeth).

He was a loving grandfather to Anthony (Stephanie), Phillip (Tiffany), Patricia, Carl, Nathan, Julia, and Amanda, and great grandfather to Cataleya, and Selina.

George was always surrounded by those who loved him dearly and his legacy will live on in the countless number of people whose lives he touched.

He will be remembered for his effortless ability to light up a room, bring smiles to the faces of those around him, and his pleasant personality that was contagious to everyone he met.

An avid reader, George loved to complete crossword puzzles and play solitaire.

Also a sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to George.

He enjoyed nothing more than a nice visit from family who were always happy to share in the laughter and love that he was known for.

Family was everything to George and he will live on through his loving wife, sister, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Arrangements entrusted to BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME .
