Beattie MargaretBEATTIE, Margaret (nee Docherty) - (November 19th, 1925 - August 30th, 2021)

Passed away peacefully on Monday August 30, 2021 at Hillsdale Terraces.  

Margaret was born on November 19, 1925 in Glasgow, Scotland and immigrated to Canada where she embraced the opportunity to have a successful food business and raise her family.  

Margaret was predeceased by her husband Daniel “Sandy."

Loving Mother to Danny, Margaret (Rick), Ann (Graeme), Mary Grace (Mike), the late Marie and the late Paul.

She will be dearly missed by all of her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Many thanks to the staff of Oceanview at Hillsdale Terraces for all the care, support, and love over the past 10 years.

Friends may call at the  ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Friday September 3rd, from 3:30-6:00 PM.

Funeral Mass on Saturday September 4th at 11am at Holy Cross Catholic Church (Olive & Simcoe).

*Registration is required for visitation and Funeral Mass using the RSVP tab at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME .

Memorial Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region, St. Vincent de Paul, or the Humane Society of Durham.
