BRUNO, Giovanni 'John' - (May 30, 1961 – September 6, 2021)
It is with heavy hearts the family announces the sudden passing of dearly loved John. Peacefully, in his sleep, on Monday, September 6, 2021, at the age of 60.
John had an adventurous spirit.
He enjoyed travelling and loved being in the company of family and friends.
Proud father of Christianne and Daniel, beloved son of Maria and Giuseppe Bruno, much loved brother of Carmine (Gina), Angela (Luigi) and Joseph (Jennifer).
Loving uncle to Michael (Laura), David (Natalie), Christopher (Laura), Josie (Brent), Rose-Marie and Michael.
John also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
John will be remembered for his kindness and compassion; he had a big heart and was always helping others.
John was a highly skilled and talented masonry craftsman. He took great pride in his work and his projects were highly regarded.
John will be missed dearly and be forever in our hearts.
Visitation on Sunday September 12th from 2:30 – 5pm at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME at 124 King Street East, Oshawa.
Funeral mass at St. Mary of the People (Stevenson Road just south of Rossland Road) on Monday September 13th at 11am. Entombment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum, Whitby.
