BLACK, Robert ‘Roy’ William - (January 14th, 1932 - September 17th, 2021)
Passed away at home with his family by his side on September 17th, 2021 at the age of 89.
Beloved husband of Nora for nearly 67 years. Loved and loving father of Heather (Harry), Joanne (Jay) and Greg.
Cherished grandpa of Blair (Rachel), Holly (Rocco), Sarah (Chris), Jesse, Kevin, Brian (Meaghan), Nicole and Riley. Proud great grandpa Clara and Sam.
He will be forever remembered by his siblings Isobel, Hubert and Sandra all of Northern Ireland.
Lovingly remembered by his only niece Colleen in Canada as well as nieces and nephews in Ireland, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME (5295 Thickson Rd. N., Whitby) on Friday September 24th from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
A memorial service honouring Roy’s life will follow in the Barnes Chapel at 2:00 p.m.
