CHILDS, Irene Elsie (nee Leduc) - Peacefully passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Port Perry Place Nursing Home at the age 87.
Loving mother to Judy (the late Rol Peckford), Susan Shawchek, and Daniel Childs.
Cherished grandmother to Gord, Darryl and Brenda, Nicole and Kimberley and several great grandchildren.
Dear sister of Eunice, Manley, Alymer, Margaret, Rita, Jimmy, Don, and Stanley.
Predeceased by her best friend Aileen Thistle and her parents Mabel and Napoleon (Paul) Leduc.
Irene will be fondly remembered for her sense of humour, her love of dogs, avid gardener and her constant support and love for her family and friends alike.
A private cremation will be held.
If desired, memorial donations to the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
