CARTER, Sybil May - Age 89, of Oshawa, passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on September 27, 2021.
Sybil was born in Lucea, Jamaica on February 1, 1932.
Sybil completed her nursing designation and spent 18 years at Dudley Road Hospital Birmingham, England and retired after 8 years of service at Dr. J.O. Ruddy General Hospital, Whitby (Lakeridge Whitby).
Sybil is survived by Humphrey Reid, Luther (Tony) Reid, Alexander (Zandy) Reid, Carter Reid, Austin Reid, Alexander (Zandy Jr.), Alyssa Lopez, Dr. Skylar Neblett, and was predeceased by son Paul Reid.
Arrangements entrusted with DeStefano Funeral Home, Oshawa.
Memorial donations may be made in Sybil's name to the Alzheimer Society Durham Region.
