GILL, Carole Eleanor Gill   -  October 14, 1939 – October 25, 2021

Carole passed away peacefully at her home in Seasons Clarington surrounded by the love of her family on October 25, 2021 at the age of 82.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Edward (Ted). Loving mother of Adrian (Jennifer) and Alison (Steve). Adored Nana to Dawn, Logan, Skylar and Isabelle.

Survived by her cherished pets – Didi and Barley.

Carole was born in London, England where she attended school, got married and had her children. In 1976, the Gill family moved to Canada with Ted’s job.

She enjoyed her time and experienced many special memories living on Elfindale and at Wilmot Creek.

Words cannot express our gratitude to all that joined Carole’s journey through life. Far too many family and friends to name – thank you!

Carole fought an incredible three year battle with cancer but it did not define her life. She lived a life full of love, happiness, laughter and family. She adored her grandchildren and loved watching and hearing all about their activities.

To the incredible residents and staff at Seasons, what an extraordinary community of love and kindness; all of you made such a huge impact and difference in Carole’s life.

And to her best friend Fred, thank you for the love, joy and kindness; she adored you.

Mum, you have crossed the finish line – rest up. Give dad a big hug!  Love you forever.

A private family service has already taken place.

In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations in memory of Carole may be made to The Humane Society of Durham or The Terry Fox Foundation.
