KRYGSMAN, Jacoba (Coby) (nee VANDERKOOY) - April 1, 1942 – November 9, 2021
Immigrated from the Netherlands in 1959.
Peacefully in the Oak Ridges Hospice, Port Perry, surrounded by the love of her family, and caring staff of Oak Ridges, after a brave fight with Cancer.
Beloved Wife of Izak (Jack) Krygsman (2010).
She will be dearly missed by all, including her step-children Myra Hay (Chris) and John Krygsman (Sandy Beeson), step granddaughter Breann Krygsman, and nephew Robert Leidekker.
Survived by siblings Riet, Helmi, Jan, Wim, Lenie, Nick, Joe, Peter and Paul, and their families.
Predeceased by her siblings Christine, Bep, and Leo. Coby was well liked by everybody because she was a fun person to be with, and never missed a party.
She was always ready to help when someone was in need, and it was apparent how many lives she had touched, by the many people that came to visit her.
Coby was known for giving her favorite advice to many, "Keep your Stick on the Ice".
Coby spent her working career as a Bookkeeper and her affinity for numbers was evident until the very end.
Her free time was spent with her family and friends, travelling, visiting, and playing volleyball.
Interment of cremated remains at GROVESIDE CEMETERY, Whitby.
