KOWAL, Anna - Passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Ivan Franko Homes, in her 99th year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Iwan ‘John’.
Loving mother of Jerry and his wife Margaret Kowal and Roxanne (Oksana) and her husband John Chiusolo.
Cherished Baba of Gary Kowal and Stephanie (Gary) Costa and Great-Baba of Lily and Conor. Dear sister of Felicia Lubenko and Anastasia Kisil.
Predeceased by her siblings John Guzelak, Pearl Majowsky, Michael Guzelak, Andrew Guzelak, Justyna Terek and Maria Kachnicz.
Anna was born in Wislok, Ukraine to parents Mukola and Felicia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. with Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa).
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2 p.m. at ST. GEORGE THE GREAT MARTYR UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH. Interment St. Wolodymy & St. Olha Cemetery.
Due to COVID19 restrictions, registration is required to attend the visitation and service. Please register at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME or call 905-433-4711 to attend. Masks are required.
