HUTCHINSON, Lascelles Hutchinson  - 1951 - 2021  The strength of a man is in his character.

A strong man is a great man of wisdom who understands, his top priority is to his family".

Lascelles Hutchinson peacefully passed, surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021.

Our beloved husband, father, Papi, brother, uncle and exceptional friend. Left to mourn are his devoted wife of 49 years and a lifetime of memories, Marcia Hutchinson, his pride and joy, son Steve and his wife Traceen and his adored grandchildren Jediah, Kaleb, Zaedyn and J'lani.

Las is survived by his siblings Dawn Murphy, Rudolph Clarke, June Clarke, Stephanie Clarke Adams, Lambert Hutchinson, Vel and Judith Hutchinson.

Las will be greatly missed by his sisters-in-law Juanita Joseph and Janet Esseu, his brother-in-law Joseph Irving, his nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. 

A man of few words, Las could be found on countless evenings around the sound system, enjoying the simple things in life.

The life of the party, the host like none other-from family barbecues, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, New Year's party -he was always looking forward to the next event. His grandchildren were his most prized possessions-he had an irreplaceable bond that will be forever cherished. 

Thank you for being a pillar of strength for your family. Thank you for always being a listening ear. Thank you for the laughter and great times but mostly Thank you for loving us so hard.  Thank God for giving us these precious times to be with you. 

The family will receive guests at the McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax Ontario, on Friday December 10, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 PM.  If you wish to attend, Registration is required by contacting the funeral home.  The Funeral Service is Public at the Revival Times Tabernacle, 550 Kingston Rd, Pickering, Ontario, on Saturday December 11, 2021 at (time to be confirmed) followed by the burial in Ajax, Ontario.  If you are attending please follow the Covid-129 protocol for the church and cemetery.
