Pratt AnthonyPRATT, Anthony David “Tony”  - (May 30, 1940 -  December 9, 2021)

Passed away at home on Thursday, December 9, 2021 in his 82nd year. 

Much loved son of the late Victor and Lena, stepson of Gordon Percival. 

Beloved husband of Yvonne Pratt (nee Keeton) for 60 years. 

Loving father of Greg (Kathy), Susan and an infant son who passed away at birth.

Proud grandfather of Pam, Cindy, David and Allison.  Godfather of Paul McIntyre.

Survived by his sister Sylvia and step-brother Ted Percival (Sylvia). Predeceased by his brother Vic (Jean-predeceased) and step-brothers Don (Shirley-predeceased), Ross (Carol) and Glen (Joan).

Brother-in-law and friend of Don Keeton (Thelma), Norma (Gary Heath) and Tom Keeton (Rick). Nephew of Uncle Bud Keeton (Doreen).  He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends, especially his Tuesday lunch buddies. 

Tony was retired from General Motors of Canada where he proudly worked for 38 years. He was an avid woodworker, outdoor enthusiast, history buff and was a past member of the Masons and Shriners. 

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 20th at 1 pm with visitation 1 hour prior, at THORNTON CEMETERY and  FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787). 

Vaccinations are required to attend this event.  All attendees will be required to show a valid QR Code or Dose Receipt showing they have received 2 valid doses of an approved vaccine and Photo ID to attend the visitation and/or funeral service.  Masks that cover both the nose and mouth are required to be worn at all times while inside the Funeral Centre.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lakeridge Health Foundation.
