Christensen DonaldCHRISTENSEN, Donald Jacob Andrew   -  It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Don Christensen (Jacob Andrew Christensen), on December 27, 2021.

Although Don fought a long battle with brain cancer, he was able to be at home the past month and passed with his family by his side.

Don leaves behind his beautiful daughter Anastasia Christensen, and her mother Masha Nosova.

His adoring mother, Anita Taylor, and his loving stepfather, John Zancanaro.

His compassionate and caring partner and personal angel Ngaire Palmer who stuck by his side and took awesome care of him from beginning to end.

His brother, Mike Christensen, and his wife Carolyn Christensen. His sister Paige Zancanaro, and her fiancé, Jordan DuMoulin.

We are so thankful Don was comforted by our nearness. We all told him it was ok to go and be with his late Brother Zak Taylor, as Zak would show him how they ride in the sky.

As per Don's wishes there will be no funeral service, and cremation will take place with a celebration of life at a later date.

Cremation arrangements entrusted to McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558).

Throughout the past 7 months Don had endured a lot. An 18 hour brain surgery, months of ICU hospital stays, and fighting to make it home for one last Christmas.

His ability to be home for Christmas is thanks to the incredible palliative care team that fought for him and his wishes, Ray, Cassandra, and Sandra.

The biggest gift of all is that we had him in our lives for 43 years, and we were able to honor all his wishes even when we wanted to reach out to so many of you and let you know about the situation.

Thank you to all who were a part of Don's life. He spoke a lot about all of you and reminisced about the good times frequently.

Online condolences can be shared at  makfuneralhome.com .

Go ride with your Bro,
Love, your earthside family.
